My name’s Rafal Widawski, and I’m from Poland — I came to America in 2013. Since then, I have been working in Chitown Tattoo.
My first tattoo I did for my brother in 1999. For several years, I’ve created tattoos at home for family and friends.

In 2004, I started work in a tattoo studio in Wroclaw (my hometown). After that, I had short stints in two other tattoo studios.

For some time, I worked for my own business. But in 2010, I started work for Chitown Tattoo, where I worked for only four months. I returned to Poland for a few years, and in 2013 I returned to Chitown Tattoo, and I am here to this day 🙂

What do I like to do? I don’t like to call myself an artist; I’m just a tattooer. I like traditional tattoos, old school, new school, color and black, and thick lines. That’s it.
I also like black and gray, not too detailed, medium-sized tattoos.
I’ve recently been interested in biomechanical tattoos; I would like to get more clients interested in that style and meet artists who focus on it.
