Chicago Cosmetic Tattooing

Permanent makeup offers newfound freedom to enhance the natural beauty of both the face and body.

Why choose permanent makeup?

Cosmetic tattooing, also known as permanent makeup, has been in use for thousands of years, with the first modern procedure performed all the way back in 1902.

Cosmetic tattoos are waterproof and enhance eyebrows, lips, or beauty marks. Also, there is no need to apply daily makeup, which saves many ladies a lot of time. We also do hairline tattooing, which is the injection of tiny pigments to the scalp with a fine micro-needle to achieve the look of real hair, which takes numerous visits to achieve the desired look. Scar camouflage and 3D tattooed areolas are also forms of cosmetic tattooing — a popular option after a breast reconstruction procedure.

Permanent Eyebrow Makeup

Healing time: It takes 7 to 10 days to heal. You cannot speed up this process.

Care: Apply a thin layer of A+D ointment to the eyebrows 5 -6 times a day. Before applying fresh cream, gently wipe off any remaining cream. If your skin feels itchy, it means you are not applying enough cream — please apply the ointment more frequently, as dry skin can become flaky or scaly.

Do not pull or scratch the skin to avoid ripping or tearing it up (this could cause scarring). If your skin appears dry, just apply the cream more often.

Permanent Eyeliner

Healing time: Eyeliner will normally heal within 4 days. If a light-color eyeliner has been used, it may fade up to 50% (it is possible to make it a little darker on your next session.)

Care: Do not use mascara nor rub your eyes until your eyelids are fully healed. Apply Bepanthen cream to the eyeliner with a cotton tip 3 – 4 times a day, and keep the area moist.

For the first two days, your eyes may appear swollen; apply clean cold pads to the eye area several times during the day to reduce any swelling. Do not rub or wipe your eyes with neither tissues nor towels.

Permanent Lip Makeup

Healing time: After the cosmetic procedure, your lips will appear swollen and much darker than the color you chose during consultation. The color will fade over the next week; your lips feel very tender and may have a tingling feeling for a week. Full lip treatment heals quite quickly — in about 3 – 4 days, up to a week.

Care: Apply enough A+D ointment to keep it moist so your lips won’t dry and become flaky. Avoid peeling your dry skin; let your lips exfoliate naturally.
